Mountain Echoes: A Literary Festival


Bhutan festivals have always been a chief attraction for the tourists traveling to Bhutan. To add to the traditional festivals in Bhutan, the India-Bhutan Foundation brings a unique Bhutan literary festival – Mountain Echoes which will be held in Thimphu, Bhutan from the 17th to the 20th May at the Tarayana Foundation. The aim of the literary festival is to promote Bhutan tourism through literature and cultural dialogue. The Mountain Echoes literary festival will focus on the writings from the Himalayan Region. Bhutan Mountain Echoes literary festival has been patronized by HM The Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck. This first-ever Bhutan literary festival is organised in association with Siyahi, a literary consultancy based in Jaipur, India.
