Mountain Echoes is a cultural Festival for a unique literary and cultural experience in the pristine beauty of Bhutan. On this occation India-Bhutan presents to all book lovers - Mountain Echoes – a literary festival, in association with Siyahi. Bhutan Festival event will provide a platform for authors from India and Bhutan to get together and engage in a cultural dialogue and understand Indian and Bhutanese literature in all its myriad forms and dimensions. The event will also bring some international authors, poets and performers together - Pavan Varma who is currently the Indian Ambassador to Bhutan; Namita Gokhale; His Excellency Jigme Yoser Thinley, the Prime Minister of Bhutan; Kunzang Choden; Patrick French; Karma Ura; Rajkumar Hirani, Abhijat Joshi of Bollywood comedy‘3 Idiots’ fame, cult classics ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ and ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ fame; Omair Ahmad; Gulzar, an accomplished poet, filmmaker and writer; Kynpham Sing; Chetan Bhagat, the author of four blockbuster novels like ‘Five Point Someone, ‘One Night the Call Center’; Kinley Dorji; Sampurna Chattarji; Sonam Kinga; Shekhar Pathak; Tshering Wangyel; Sarnath Bannerjee, an Indian graphic novelist, artist, and filmmaker; Dr. M S Gill; Mamang Dai; Leila Seth, the first woman Chief Justice of a High Court in India; Temsula Ao; Samten Dorji will be there among many others

Festivals are religious events. The country in which the behavior of purified and consecrated by lamas, so when you at a festival that look essentially within the perimeter of outdoor religious ground. The behavior of the viewer in this sense must be executed. The dancers, whether monks or laymen are in a meditative state. They become gods, or the dance floor.
